Krapina Hot Springs
Krapina Hot Springs (thermal baths) is a renowned thermal spa situated in a peaceful and beautiful valley surrounded by the picturesque hills of Hrvatsko Zagorje. The place has been well-known for its natural, therapeutic waters since the time of the Roman Empire
(aquae vivae).
In the mid 19th century, the owner - Jakob Badl - built the first hospital building, and in so doing, established the foundations of today’s modern spa.
Four hyper thermal springs at temperatures of 39-41° C contain calcium, magnesium and hydro carbonate, as revealed by water analysis

The Hotel Aquae vivae (***)

As a guest of the hotel, you are able to choose from an array of dishes offered in the buffet at each meal.
You can start your day at the bar, or on the cafe terrace, sipping your favorite morning beverage and reading the newspaper. You can enjoy some fresh cake or ice-cream.

After swimming in the pool and sun bathing, refresh yourself with a cool drink at the snack-bar and try the menu of the day, or choose something off the grill.

Do not bypass the a la carte restaurant which offers specialties from Zagorje cuisine, as well as Mexican, Chinese and Italian dishes.

The catering department is available to organize and provide banquet and catering services such as:
