The Aquae Vivae water park, an object of 18,000 m2, does not give CO2 emissions into the environment, yet at the same time draws, all the needed energy for heating up the space, from the thermal water and the fills the pools. The insulation of the external vertical walls was done in such a way, that we have achieved a coefficient of heat transfer of the vertical walls U-walls = 0.26 W / m²K. On vertical walls there are 60 mm thick glass walls with built-in low-temperature glass. The heat transfer coefficient through the glass walls is Lt = 0.9 W / m2K. The roofs are made of laminated wooden structure and are insulated in such a way that their coefficient of heat transfer U-roof = 0.2 W / m²K. The glassy roof parts are made of low-emission triple-glazed glass so that their heat transfer coefficient U-roof is 1.1 W/m˛K.
With regard to the make up of spring water, and the most important resource that we use does not require any additional chemical treatment to maintain satisfactory sanitary and hygienic bathing conditions except for Na0Cl. Waste water is not weighted with free residual chlorine or any other element. The pools wastewater is used for washing the toilets.
At Aquae Vivae’s water park we strictly sort waste: paper, plastic, glass, cans, biodegradable waste and waste edible oil, and we achieve significant financial savings, and we work daily to minimize the amount of waste.
